Poor performance today. I hate how all of our receiver routes are down field with no quick options. Saquon is our only checkdown receiver.

Doesn't seem like the team fares well when either Saquon or Brown is unavailable, and we end up having long down and distance so much it's no wonder we go for it in fourth so often. But as I said before, we have no short routes to receivers and Saquon is our only checkdown option (even though Saquon is probably the reason we gained yards on that drive to begin with), so we run out of options quickly when a tush push or Barkley carry isn't an option.

Hurts did alright but this offense doesn't promote him getting the ball out quickly... even if that's how most of the league plays nowadays.

Let's go ahead and retire the 4th down attempts and 2 point conversions. I get what we've been trying to do with them so far, but we score enough points without those types of plays and we don't score enough when we fail those attempts. We don't have the element of surprise with how we manage those extra plays, so they're becoming a consistent liability and I wouldn't trust it in a big game or playoff game when we might need it.

Yesterday was almost annoying as f***. Bad coaching and an egregious missed call by the refs kept the Jags in it. Exactly. It put the playmakers in position to make plays, and they excelled. Regardless of whether or not they should have been in that position in the first place.

And on another note. The 2 point tries yesterday were less of a problem for me than the plays that were called for those attempts. Abysmal.

• The first one, you get a try from the 1 yard line. I take that every time, and honestly it did look like Hurts got the ball over the line, but that officiating crew was the worst I've ever seen. I am not one to blame refs, but they absolutely tried to put the game in their hands yesterday. Otherwise, fine with the decision
• The second one, it was a result of chasing points now. This is the one that I would say was most bad
• Third try, this and the first one I completely absolve Sirianni. At this point in the game they're up 12, if they kick the PAT they're only up 13. The HAD to go for the 2 pt try here, fine with the decision

The two things that irked me most about Sirianni's game management were the 4th & inches call late where they called a rollout instead of trying the sneak, and bringing Jake in cold late to attempt a 57-yarder as his first kick
