Has anyone actually read do androids dream of electric sheep? I've only seen blade runner, how faithful is the movie to the novel

only difference I heard is that the book clearly states that Deckard is human. movie leaves it open to interpretation unless your looking at the final cut

I read it last year, book is great and a quick read.

There are definitely some differences from the movie, can’t remember all off the top but the book, movie and 2049 are all incredible companion pieces to each other imo

I've only ever seen the director's cut

I'll look up the book. Also, good to see you staying alive on a forum

Read A Scanner Darkly over my vacation last week, pretty good but not one of my faves or anything like that, I liked androids a lot better it was just more memorable

I plan on reading the three stigmata and Ubik this winter I hope I enjoy them more than ASD
