She was a former addict who was clean for a few years. She was also super transparent about her addictions and that she wouldn't glorify the s***, in hopes nobody else would get caught up.

So my point stands. We as a society especially hip hop culture have to stop glorifying d****. That s*** has killed some of our very own and it’s disgusting that we have normalized it

  • no f***ing way, this is literally tragic, i met her once and talked to her a few times. i followed her music and always wanted her to blow up, i thought she had a unique sound. she had huge dreams for what she wanted to do in the future. she wanted to like start a music venue in philly for upcoming artists. really sad, i thought she had gotten over her addiction. d**** are a b****

Maaan give it a rest on this. She was open about her addictions, and was going clean. Unfortunately, the path to to sobriety isn't easy, and relapsing happens with most who are battling their addictions.

Having your first thought be "We gotta stop glorifying d**** in our music" about an artist who wasn't on that wave, and was attempting rehabilitation, does nothing and is some d*** head s***.

Just offer condolences and keep it moving.
