I use an electric, but it absolutely is worth it to own an acoustic if you live in a place that you’re going to stay for a while. I’m in college so there’s no point in me getting a piano for the temporary house I’m staying at, but when I find a place after I’m def gonna get an acoustic. You can find them for FREE on facebook

People practically give away pianos because they’re a b**** to move which is what I’m afraid of dealing with in the future
But yea, I haven’t settled down in a home yet. I think I’ve decided on a digital piano

    What’s your experience?

my acoustic piano sounds amazing. it's loud, but it has a great sound. electric piano is nice too, depending on what kind you get. it's also nice to plug in headphones into the keyboard if you're playing late at night or just wanna hear it better. it all depends on your preference at the end of the day, but i prefer my acoustic keys at the end of the day

get a keyboard with quality keys unless you have the space and bread for a baby grand or something and are really really into it

@op also if you're gonna get an electric keyboard, make sure the keys are weighted
