does anyone know if the pad controls for 1 and 2 are updated to be more like 3?

i emulated pikmin 2 earlier this year but i was spoiled by starting with 3's controls

Probably for the official ports - theyre trying to standardize them across all for 4's release

If you have a wii mote play the wii ports of 1/2 on dolphin - that way you can use the wii mote as the pointer and skip most of the buttons like the wii u pad for 3

They will probably have joy con wii mote-like or gyro sensor support as well for Switch which could help u

Hope we get a few "Alien" humanoid enemies like the silver water wraith in 1 and the gold laser wraith in 3 instead of just one like usual

Oh s*** i just foind out Ice Pikmin is a thing in 4 i totally missed the first full trailer a few months ago that showed it

Ice Teal Pikmin is really meh n simple - I love how poison white n strong purple pikmin is from 2 then the rock black and wing pink pikmin in 3 im glad they came out with the green glow ghost pikmin now in 4 (then yellow electric, fire red & water blue the 3 og pikmins of 1). Theyve all been really creative and supversive besides the now Ice.

Happy i didnt see the original full reveal this trailer is so much better n crazy.

Also wonder if that fuzzy red Olimer Pikmin(?) is Olimer actually infected from the bad ending of 1 or if its just like an evil doppleganger type thing that grew but also pays homage.

Also i found out you create your own character for this Pikmin. Skin color, gender, hair, name, body type, body shape & suit color LETS GO
