I could swear while reading your message that you were talking about an upcoming artist and not BEYONCE. The album is like a solid 7.5 def not a 9 that first half of the album was hit or miss-ish ain't no way a 9/10 should be held to a standard that allows a first half to give such a lukewarm impression

This Beyonce album as nice as it was is probably going straight to my forgettable album list of the year in like a couple of weeks max

Honestly, it was a disappointment when I first listened to it. But appreciated it for what it was as years passed. I felt the sequencing was off and didn’t need to be separated on 2 discs. I like the songs on there, but felt it would have been better if the songs all put on one disc.
