brownsugahHonestly, it was a disappointment when I first listened to it. But appreciated it for what it was as years passed. I felt the sequencing was off and didn’t need to be separated on 2 discs. I like the songs on there, but felt it would have been better if the songs all put on one disc.

LaFleurThis is not a 9/10 album just like Fetch The Bolt Cutters was not a 10/10 album. P4K are just rushing to give highly anticipated albums good grades. If this Beyonce album is a 9 I have a handful of albums that should've earned this grade but guess what ?

Same writer reviewed that too. They're a little bit generous with the reviews, but I'm glad they're not on no bullshit giving out 5's and 6's to quality albums.

I’m not on here a lot. But I feel that the majority in this thread are hating and coming off as salty. They can’t accept that a black female artist got a 9.0 on pitchfork. The album is amazing whether you’re a Beyoncé supporter or not.
Before I get attacked, let me preface this by saying I love Beyonce and I think Renaissance is one of the best albums of the year.
But people on here aren’t hating because Beyonce is a black woman, there are numerous amazing black women in music that get loads of love on here (Twigs, Jazmine, SZA to name a few). It’s just that there’s an obvious and clear circlejerk around anything Beyonce does nowadays. You have people on here acting like she saved the music industry with this album when in reality 2022 has been a fantastic year in music in the mainstream and just overall in general.
KTT doesn’t hate Beyonce, I think there are just people on here who don’t understand or agree with the massive hype and praise she gets when she does literally anything.
With all that being said, Renaissance is a fantastic album in my opinion
