shaleiroseBefore I get attacked, let me preface this by saying I love Beyonce and I think Renaissance is one of the best albums of the year.
But people on here aren’t hating because Beyonce is a black woman, there are numerous amazing black women in music that get loads of love on here (Twigs, Jazmine, SZA to name a few). It’s just that there’s an obvious and clear circlejerk around anything Beyonce does nowadays. You have people on here acting like she saved the music industry with this album when in reality 2022 has been a fantastic year in music in the mainstream and just overall in general.
KTT doesn’t hate Beyonce, I think there are just people on here who don’t understand or agree with the massive hype and praise she gets when she does literally anything.
With all that being said, Renaissance is a fantastic album in my opinion
No you’re not getting attacked. I respect different opinions. I don’t think it’s the fact she got BNM. It’s the fact that she got a 9.0 which is rare for a black female artist. I feel that people in here were doing to much because of the rating and it came off as sexist. And I’ve seen this same behavior on KTT1 which inspired my opinion. But nah you’re good.

This is not a 9/10 album just like Fetch The Bolt Cutters was not a 10/10 album. P4K are just rushing to give highly anticipated albums good grades. If this Beyonce album is a 9 I have a handful of albums that should've earned this grade but guess what ?

About Twigs. I’m a fan of hers but tbh, her music doesn’t really cater to the black audience tbh. And she’s not all the way black. There’s a difference believe it or not.
