Production can really ruin an album...just listen to Baroness' Gold and Grey. FANTASTIC songwriting throughout, but the mixing and mastering was so awful it ruined anything good that was going for it.

really? i thought flux compacitor when the beat is just so layered for moments it gets super messy especially over their vocals- which is a shame bc that Higher flip at the end is sick and if that was just able to poke out and shine more in the beat it’d be so nice
