HopOffMySackDawg69Bruh the mixing isn't even cohesive throughout the record. There is no standard, but I'd like hear what Hov and Jay Elec are saying during their verses. It's not even an aesthetic choice when it comes to the mixing...it's just subpar

Niggas on here were universally d***riding some rap songs with some of the most annoying mixing I’ve ever heard (but it was by choice so that makes it good) but will complain about albums like this where it’s not even an issue.

There’s nothing complicated to explain, you just hear that Jay Elec and Jay-Z vocals are sometimes not the same quality or volume, sometimes they get swallowed in the beat, sometimes the beat itself sounds muddy
Best example I can give you is Shiny Suit Theory, it’s like they ripped it off YouTube
I guess if you want to call it a mixtape go ahead but my man had Roc Nation budget and 10 years to make this album, then why does it sound like he made it in his basement?
