Travis has never been a great lyricist or touched on any important sociopolitical topics - acting like Utopia revealed any of this is disingenuous and hypocritical. I can name 10 other artists off the top of my head that aren't superior lyricists to travis yet no one expects them to be.
This album is literally just 2023 Owl Pharaoh but if it was full of Antidotes and Beibs in the Traps it'd be universally loved. Thank GOD that is not the case
It feels like people expected Travis to turn over a new leaf after what happened at Astroworld. And they hate Utopia because it's more of the same from him (in terms of subject matter and lyrics)
