Y’all ignoring the point that they were bought out and have chained their tune ever since. Same with Fantano and his whole make over after the hit piece written on him. This matters because neither comes across remotely as sincere as they used to with the context surrounding the music taking up more time than the music itself in their reviews. Also of course they have blue checks on here now too and they predictably have the exact takes I would expect. Lol. I’ll always take honest people over people attached to brands who hold positions that maintain their comfy gig.

& correct me if i’m wrong, but isn’t the numerical score given an average of a few people’s scores, while the write up is just one person?

its def up to the editor at minimum. its definitely not chosen by the writer but from my understanding they give
input and their editor makes final decision. all i know is the discrepancy between my friend’s score and the final score has been as much as like 0.9 from my knowledge
