hey man relaxit’s okay
with most highly rated albums i can at least understand why it got the score it did, but i cant with this
like i would even understand a high score tbh, but a 100 on metacritic? from over 17 reviewers? sounds like pandering to me
edit: and i would say this about any album with a 100 on metacritic, no matter the artist
funny thing is just like with rotten t, it doesn't mean everyone gave it a perfect score, 8 reviewers gave it less than 100, kinda hate how meta does things sometimes.

ah. some pad their 10s with love from outside circumstances, and for fiona fans this is an 8-year anticipation, so i see what you mean. critics can't create something from nothing though. time will smooth this out but imo the album's fantastic

This is the average ktt user. Literally thinks art is something they’re going to like just because others enjoy it.
It’s not surprising or even notable that you don’t like something, you don’t have to like everything just because it’s popular or acclaimed ffs

man shut the f*** up, did you even actually read what i said? i said that even when i dont like an acclaimed album, i can usually look at it from an objective standpoint and understand why it deserved the score it did. As of right now i simply cant do with this one. thats all im saying. Maybe further down the line i will get it who knows
