Really curious to see how they plan to improve the camera (or really any aspect) of the Pixel 5 tomorrow based on the leaked specs

Still using the same sensor as the pixel 2-4
I don't think we'll see significant improvements tbh
Been having a little more performance issues than I was at first. Some apps crashing but I think that's really cause I always have like 20 apps open
Feel like that's a given with the 4a :/ hope it doesn't bother you a ton

Yea I know but I didn't notice at first. Maybe I'll switch to the 5 😂
Holy s***, what garbage. How sad to see how hard this great brand (Pixel OG was amazing) has fallen. Might as well call the Pixel 5 the Pixel 5a.
(assuming that the Verge article I read summing up the press conference is correct that there were no significant software reveals and super subpar hardware).

subpar hardware? the thing isnt even in reviewers hands
We'll see soon
just because it hasn't got a 800 series Snapdragon SoC, doesn't mean the hardware is bad.
Imma be honest with you boys
I don't like how it's going with the pixel line in the near future
What's the actual goal?
Pixel 3a was step in right direction and now there should've been just only one Pixel 4a model WITH 5G capabilities from the jump and not release a 5.
Im convinced. Aluminium body with wireless charging, great ass camera, good display and no more bs on the front panel, battery size that is finally acceptable. Not worried about the processor chip not being high end as mobile chips have come a long way, its acceptable in 2020
Also side note the girl doing the announcement presentation is cute as s***

given the sd 765G is better than the pixel 2 sd, i think it'll be fine for daily use. My pixel 2 is still speedy as hell. Not sure about gaming performance, since I don't game
I wanted Pixel 5 but I don't want the midrange chip. I push my phone quite a bit.
Right now I'm leaning towards the Xperia 5 II, checks every box for me.
The October update has really sped up my phone big time after the Android 11 update really slowed it down.

If you use the selfie camera even for facetime then defo don't get the Sony
Also if you are not gonna do any post processing for photos then don't get it either.

Yeah, more I look into the Sony the less I like it. Don’t think it’s a bad device by any means, just not perfect.
Waiting for the OnePlus event, the 8T looks promising. I like the design, I like OxygenOS, the cameras have been improving and the 8 Pro was solid.
Also gonna wait for more performance results with the Pixel 5 to come out and see how that 765G does. It’s probably fine, but man it just makes me nervous. I’m a heavy power user when It comes to phones.

Yeah I had the Sony 1 ii for 2 weeks....has a lot of positives but there were things holding it back and cameras was one of them.
I'm now back to my 7 Pro and still love it. Waiting for the 8t Pro to see what improvements there are but honestly the 7 Pro feels and is still a great flagship. I'd rather have this that any of these other phones out currently.
Pixel really just need to make a flagship phone with actual flagship specs idk what's so hard

yeah, i wanted a Pixel 5 bad. I'd pay 899 for a Pixel 5 with an 865+.
legit think i got an ulcer trying to figure out how to screenshot
i'd never been so frustrated in my life, why the f*** would they move/change that s***? why not add a button for it in the drop down? peak stress
