Anyone else having some glitches since installing Android 11?

I'm having problems deleting music that I uploaded to my pixel 3 from my computer, and also having trouble connecting it to my computer via USB

Also curious, does anyone else that's had their pixel for a while have trouble getting it to charge when you plug in the usb c wire? I have to do it at an odd angle now to get it to work

happens to all the cheap chargers that manufacturers include with their phones eventually IME.

    Nah i get it

But everything doesn't have to be "this spec, that camera, this refresh rate"

Look at Pixel 3a, what's wrong with that?

Look at Pixel 4a, what's wrong with that?

3a and 4a have significant slowdowns tbh

It's happening with every charger I use on it, and the problem happened at the same time. Which leads me to believe it's a problem with the phone and not the chargers though ๐Ÿค”

I've had a quite a trip the last few months. First I switched from the Pixel 2XL to the Samsung S20 in May I rode with it a month. Very well made phone but I hate all the Samsung crap in the software it was not very fun to use and no where near as smart as the Pixel. (One plus side is I took the best selfie I've ever taken on the S20. I mean the selfie was so good my picture got requested by Buzzfeed for an article)

After selling my S20 on Ebay for more than I bought it for I was thinking of waiting for the Pixel 4a but after the delays I decided I was gonna get the One Plus 7Pro. I rode with this phone for 3 months. Man I really loved it. The software experience is right up there with the Pixel. That full screen display the colors, the 90Hz and the size. I really thought about keeping it and it's a great alternative to the Pixel 4a since it's only like 400 dollars rn.

But at the end of the day I still missed all the software quirks on the Pixel. And of course that camera. There is no competition. That was main problem with OnePlus. So I returned my 7Pro to Amazon and I bought the Pixel 4a. It's coming on the 16th. I'll post a review in here when I get it.

Idk if this is separate or related to Android 11, but Chrome has been moving slow as hell lately. But I feel like there was a decently big update for it too, so maybe that's why.

    1 Week Review

Ok guys I've been using the Pixel 4a for about a week now here are my thoughts. Marques Brownlee

Right off the bat I have to say that buying this phone has been an all around win. Coming from the S20 and the One Plus 7Pro it's a f***ing steal. I loved the displays and screens on those phones. Especially the 7Pro but this screen is pretty close in terms of colors, saturation and overall look. You really can't tell the difference between the 1440p displays on those phones and the 1080 AMOLED display on this phone. Amazing. It doesn't get super bright outdoors but it's plenty bright enough. Also if you care about 90 hz or 120 hz I guess this display could be disappointing. But I think it's overrated. The only real display issue I run into is when using certain apps or games the screen cuts off in weird ways where the display is not symmetrical. It doesn't happen a lot but it's annoying when it does.

The Google software is still my favorite Android experience. Especially since I hated the Software on the S20 with all the bloat apps. Running Android 11 on this phone has been dope. The new features run perfectly on this phone. As far as performance goes. I'm not a heavy gamer but I do play games. I run Mario Kart probably the most as far as games go and the most I've noticed is the phone gets hot. But as far as running videos and apps I haven't run into any problems.

As far as the phone size and feel. I actually love it. The phone is extremely light weight and feels good in your pocket. Coming from the OnePlus 7Pro which is pretty much a Phablet at 6.7 inches and going to this phone which is 5.8. I was actually shocked by how small it was and I was slightly disappointed at first. I haven't had a small phone since my Iphone 7 three years ago. After getting used to the size I'm all the back in on the small phone wave. It definitely feels big enough because of the all screen front. The screen to body ratio makes it seem bigger than it actually is. Also, the back cover feels so pleasing. Glass backs need to be out. They break all the time and they are fingerprint magnets. The plastic back cover looks and feels perfect. It picks up almost no fingerprints. It is boring unless you like black like I do. So if you want variety just grab a case.

I really dont feel the need to talk about the camera because we all know how good it is. It certainly is better than my 2xl when I compared but I haven't gotten a real opportunity to test it out in cool outdoor settings. I will this weekend. And I'll post if anyone cares. Also, we all know how meh the video quality is on these phones. If you really want a better video quality you can spend double the price for an Iphone or a Samsung. No major upgrades but getting this camera at 350 is an obvious steal.

All in all I have no major complaints with this phone. I've been pleasantly surprised by a lot of the qualities in this phone and I will definitely be fine with rocking with this phone for the foreseeable future.

(I will say that the S20 took quite possibly the best selfies I've ever taken on a phone provided the lighting situations are perfect. This phone's selfie cam doesn't match up and the portrait mode hates my dreads. However, I discovered that this phone is so small and thin that I can comfortable take selfies using the rear camera and now obviously my selfies are amazing lol )

Why not change if you can. Especially if I can potentially save $150 and get a phone I prefer. I would've got this phone earlier but the release was delayed.

hmm totally the opposite for me

before the update s*** would be so bad. I would open a new tab and it would hang for like 4 seconds. that s***s finally gone

try clearing cache and restart ur device. might help

Anyone else with the 4a experiencing a glitch when trying to sign into Xfinity wifi? Not your router but when you're someplace else, you can sign into a Xfinity modem for wifi. Mines keep going into a login loop.

    This is f***ing lame.
