    More leaks

    pocketnow.com/the-design-of-the-google-pixel-4a-has-been-confirmed-by-leaked-case-renders

Google really made a cheaper version that looks better, has a fingerprint scanner, headphone jack and no forehead. Let's see if they will keep the 90 Hz and how much storage these things have. I doubt they included the radar chip.

the read thing is neat too we really getting blessed out here and we finna finally have RCS like iPhone.

    Unbelievable on a phone

I've been on 144hz VA monitors at home for years but always 1080p, so to get my first 1440p display and it's in my pocket on a big bright 90hz OLED, phenomenal..

The rest of the hardware is great too like the speakers, haptics, 8gb ram, ufs 3.0 storage, wifi and mobile speeds and the latest T-mobile bands... but the crown jewel is for sure the display. On displaymate they gave it their highest ratings ever and it broke all these records for having visually perfect colors and contrast

I've been saying the ultimate phone would be Pixel software, iPhone cameras and QC, Oneplus hardware, Samsung brightness, LG built in DAC expandable storage and headphone jack, ASUS battery and speakers... with a cross-platform version of iMessage with gamepigeon. Maybe facetime and airdrop if Google can't pull it togther with their RCS, "Fast Share" and Google Duo
it'll never happen but a man can dream

Google may be working on 2 mid-range Pixel phones for 2020: One with the 5G Snapdragon 765 and another with the 4G Snapdragon 730

I just hate when b****es get mad bout no ft and green texts, I've almost switched a few times.

Duo is better than FT too, just nobody has it.

And I'd take pixel camera over iPhone (not really a difference if we're being honest) as long as Snapchat doesn't f*** with it. Snapchat's dumbass apple fanboy CEO has done so much to hurt Android user experience and the reputation of Androids.

Don't they just take screenshots of the viewfinder? What type of lazy ass programming is this?

Yep, but I think since the 2xl they said they use the actual camera input but on my 2XL, 3, and 3XL, the camera quality on Snap has been on par with my actual camera quality for like one week tops then it reverts.

It's purposefully done and I hate it

Google paid Snapchat to optimize for pixel phones, I can confirm the pixel 1 was the best Snapchat experience in Android I had and I don't think Pixel Visual Core started until P2

Pixel camera has always taken goat stills but iPhone has always had the best video by far. This year with the 11 Pro they brought an ultrawide (still not on pixel??!) And telephoto that all have stabilization, work in 4k60 video, consistent sharpness between the 3, this year they got the best camera setup no doubt. And Google quietly stopped giving pixel users unlimited backups at Original quality for life which was a big selling point

I had an iPhone se for a week and man hoes LOVE iMessage games, I think I'm gonna pick up a cheap iOS burner maybe another SE just so I can swap in my sim card at any point and get on iMessage when it's necessary

  • Jan 17, 2020

Google gave a reason why they can't do 4k60. It's because both lenses are actually recording at the same time or whatever. Never had issues with video. It's beautifully stabilized like this:

It's crazy running video back and you remember shaking and it's all stabilized.
The reason I stuck with Pixel is probably stupid but I love to squeeze my phone to launch assistant. That's a feature I instantly missed when I went back to Samsung. Just the way Google Assistant is integrated and responds instantly in the 4 is brazy. I can do so many things hands free with this damn thing. This also the only damn phone other than iPhone that works guaranteed on any carrier, GSM or CDMA.

Took this a few weeks ago. Like it means a lot to me if I can take photos and count on them looking the way my eyes see them. It was already dark but it was able to pull some blue out of the night sky. I don't have to edit, color correct s***, reframe, cut s*** out. It just looks good out of the box.

I really enjoy the Pixel lineup but man Google just can't get their s*** together. There is always just 1-2 things that can be a dealbreaker on it. Like for the P4, you're compromising battery life, video and possibly even a telephoto lens. It's almost perfect.

but I would switch it up to Pixel software, iphone integration. pixel over iphone just a tad in terms of camera quality. where it hurts is on apps like snapchat/insta. Our s*** constantly looks like trash

Pixel 4 didn't have a wide angle lens either. Too many compromises and not as full a package as say, the Oneplus 7 pro

They have a huge chance here with the Pixel 4a to bring the world's first $400 90hz phone with flagship camera(s) but we know they'll fumble it. 3a did just get an award from jerryrigeverything for being the most repairable phone out and there are other promising things from the 3a that hopefully will a direction for the "a" line to follow
