I mean the unlimited storage thing was only a limited time
They marketed the Pixel 1 as having unlimited cloud storage of original quality uploads for life, and on my Pixel 1 now it even says in gphotos "All uploads from your Pixel are stored at original quality for free: or something like that. You can get one too for $80 on ebay but the QC of the pixel 1 is s***. I've been through like 4 and they all still work seamlessly with the original quality backups but crap out eventually. I keep one around as a mule for my DSLR camera but my main phone is no longer a pixel
They stopped giving lifetime uploads beginning with the pixel 3 I believe, now it's like a year of free original quality backups
Pixel is really the only "personal computer" where Google fully controls the hardware so it's their playground to test their latest ideas. Google's AI Blog is showing off all the latest AI Google is working on and implementing into Pixel phones before any other platform. Worth checking out if that type of stuff interests you:
who in here is rocking a Pixel 4 XL?
I planned on waiting until the S20 and picking that up as my new daily, but a friend of mine just offered me a basically new 4 XL for 450 and I'm tempted to rock with that instead
Pic I took using Night Sight on my P4 XL ~11pm. Took like a sec. Honestly it was black, the grass was black, the tree was black, the sky was black, and the lights behind the tree were there but faint. Ngl sometimes I use the camera viewfinder just to see what's in the dark because it can see things I just can't.

This is dope! I'm not an owner of a Pixel, but my brother has one and it seems like it a pretty cool device

Handheld too Gone are the days of tripod long exposures
You're not wrong. If I was to leave the Apple ecosystem I'd go for a pixel for sure. I don't want some s*** OS that won't be supported within 2 years.
They are still adding more features, like you can't see who you are subscribed to yet and you can't subscribe to podcasts but at least we can listen to them through a browser now.
I do like the Pixels tbh...
I work in device repair and they are one of the harder phones to do batteries on tho.
Like you might as well get a new screen while you're at it.
If not for that, I'd have been got one cuz they really are nice.
I want to get the Pixel port rom for my OnePlus 6,but I have to do a bunch of bullshit, and even if I manage to get it installed, it's got bugs that are a no-go for me.
android's fire

Getting this soon to go with my Pixel 3

Was looking at these yesterday and I don't know. Galaxy Buds+ have 11 hours battery life and Airpod Pros have active noise canceling. I'm waiting for something with great battery and active noise canceling to come out this year.
Turns out Samsung Galaxy S20's 100MP 30x zoom camera is still cheeks compared to P4 8x with AI. SAD.
how long do u wait for charge and how's the sound?
What Pixel u got? Issa seamless pair huh?
U gonna make me consider these Galaxy buds bro, I'm thinking the Pixel Buds 2, but u got me worried here
If they really good with Pixel, I'll have to check it out
I got the 3, how's 4 XL? U got forced 90hz?
wym u OP and also do we need to have Galaxy Wearable app for them or?
I'm ready to upgrade from my Pixel 2XL. I want to wait for the Pixel 4a but I really want to buy a phone now and I'm considering the OnePlus 7 Pro. What should I do guys

I went from a 2XL to the 7 Pro... If you don't care about losing that pixel camera, then the 7 Pro is a good upgrade. The camera is trash compared to the pixel though.

That's why I'm worried about. I really do value a good camera but I can still keep my Pixel and take pictures with it. I'm taking so much into consideration tho. I want to post better pictures on instagram so I'm thinking about going back to the dark side (Apple) too. All androids suck on Instagram for whatever reason. Right now Im considering either the 3A, Samsung 10E, Oneplus 7 Pro or IPhone 11
