Anyone else order their 4a from Amazon? My order says pending or something. I see that it's out of stock on there now. What are the chances of them cancelling my order if they oversold?

How y'all feeling about the 5?

The spec leaks sound trash, and they seem like they've been in a downward spiral the last few years in terms of hardware.

Honestly, I hate to say it but I may end up switching over to Apple for the 12 if Google doesn't wow me with some next level software stuff.

I might switch to Apple too, but I think it's important to note that the pixel 5 isn't trying to compete with the iPhone 12 pro. I wouldn't say they're regressing, but it's less groundbreaking for a greater value.

They're really trying to ace that mid-range field of phones and I think the P5 will be one of the best in that category. For me, I kinda don't want a flag-ship top tier phone. We're simply not their target audience anymore :/

Money has been tight so I might still cop the P5, but I'm low-key more excited about the 12 pro.

I was initially disappointed about the SD765 G but it seems like it's marginally better than the Pixel 2 SD, so it's still an upgrade to me. What's really disappointing is that it's using the same lense as P3. There's not enough software advancements in the world to exceed what they're already putting out.

None yet. If the battery isn't 1.5x better than the pixel 4 I'm going to be so disappointed. Hoping they really put in work optimizing things

I mean Pixel 4 was by most accounts total trash. And Pixel 5 doesn't seem like it will have huge advancements made to it. I'm open to the idea of Google dropping some big time software goodies, but I haven't heard anything about that yet to make it seem likely
