some of the best songwriters in the world. shame kim and black weren’t compatible outside of a few records. they’re geniuses on their own but they made some sublime work together

the songwriting is just so genius here. crazy that they started the “quiet/loud” dynamic so prevalent in rock in the 90’s and are still unparalleled.

such a simple bass riff becomes so much more by building it up. the first crescendo into that chorus is godly

im not sure if im able to do it personally. Doolittle is #1 for sure but the rest of the albums are so hard to put over eachother
