My favorite place to visit in Japan was Mt Fushimi Inari in Kyoto. The Kansai region is great in general if you're into nature. If you're interested in sports or martial arts you can prob catch a boxing or kickboxing card at Korakuen Hall near Shinjuku, but there are many other locations that have fights as well. That Gundam exhibit in Yokohama was dope. If you are into nightlife stuff, Shibuya is always jumpin. If you're into games and anime, Akihabara is a great spot
