In August of next year with the girlfriend trying to catch a few footy games and events and what not. Trying to stay a few nights 3-5 nights in London and perhaps 1 in Manchester (when I see United play) any recommendations of where I should stay at in London and what places I should visit including outside of London?

If you're in Manchester city centre make sure to go to the Northern Quarter for all the cool shops. There's a couple vinyl shops and thrift shops. Also a really cool complex called Afflecks with lots of smalls shops and s*** (also an anime cafe where they all dress in maid outfits if you're into that). For places to eat there's this really nice Indian called Bundobust which is traditional Indian food, all vegetarian and s***; it's good af though.
