imagine the pressure hes going through tho, he had his biggest song last year and he didn't even get to make a dime off of it because of the sample, had 2 more leaks blow up on tik tok, and now he became a father a month after getting overwhelming backlash over his verse on pain 1993 and for dropping a comeback single all while he was finishing the album
i hope he comes out on top of this, its possible, he just can't fumble another roll out again or drop an average album like his peers

I mean I was more so saying for Rocky and Uzi people are definitely more open about saying they fell off, prior to EA/TESTING you weren’t hearing that besides as a joke because they hadn’t released music.

Carti had honestly what turned from a horrendous situation to an incredible rollout last time because hype was at an all time high when it dropped so it more than worked out in his favor.

This rollout is an actual nightmare though, 80+ leaks (including the majority of the OG album) been over two years, @MEH kinda flopped and Pain 1993 for sure flopped. Now he’s a dad like you said, Corona hit, people are not rocking with his other new features and are skeptical based on the snippets too.

The longer he waits, the worse it’s gonna get too. He’s got a huge uphill battle ahead of him to not only get the dedicated fans to not say this is a flop out the gate but also the wider public. Really think in a lot of ways his public career and reputation is on the line with this one.
