I don’t know a single person IRL still bumping EA. Of course it’s gonna do good in the minute people waited almost 3 years for a project, they were happy to just have music. Talk to the fans, s*** even the casuals, they are for sure saying he fell off, #s are showing for these new singles cause he already dropped and people lost interest

1. The drama surrounding the album release
2. The album not being as good as the leaks
3. Overall waiting more then 20 months for the project (and Uzi not making the type of music worth waiting that long)I don’t agree with any of this but it’s what I’ve heard from many haters

Aug 7, 2020·1 replyBillI mean I was more so saying for Rocky and Uzi people are definitely more open about saying they fell off, prior to EA/TESTING you weren’t hearing that besides as a joke because they hadn’t released music.
Carti had honestly what turned from a horrendous situation to an incredible rollout last time because hype was at an all time high when it dropped so it more than worked out in his favor.
This rollout is an actual nightmare though, 80+ leaks (including the majority of the OG album) been over two years, @MEH kinda flopped and Pain 1993 for sure flopped. Now he’s a dad like you said, Corona hit, people are not rocking with his other new features and are skeptical based on the snippets too.
The longer he waits, the worse it’s gonna get too. He’s got a huge uphill battle ahead of him to not only get the dedicated fans to not say this is a flop out the gate but also the wider public. Really think in a lot of ways his public career and reputation is on the line with this one.

You can go on Twitter and find a leak back in the early 2000s we had to risk a virus to download them s***s.
Leaks are too widely available and it's lead to people becoming attached to music that shouldn't be out yet.
People have entire albums now like Yandhi that they want.
