Get him some toys and make sure he knows where the litter box is. Try to get him a scratching post and make sure he’s able to look out of a window when he wants

I have the scratching post outside my bedroom door cause I want him to learn to enjoy the living room. The food is set there too since I have an open concept living room/kitchen. The litter box is in the bathroom. I was told he will find the role and litter box on his own so to not move those. Dis correct?
