very bad news, if a family member has bpd the chances of someone related having bpd tends to be exponentially higher than a diagnosis of bpd if they were a single child otherwise

You should probably have her talk to her doctor. Some women have serious hormonal imbalances when on certain birth control. Maybe she just needs to switch/get off of it for awhile and let her brain & body return to their natural harmony.
