Almost a year ago i did something incredibly stupid (resisted arrest while intoxicated) and caught two felony counts for it. I have never been in trouble with the law before, am graduating college this may, and this has really been stressing me out.

My public defender hasnt done s*** for me, hardly ever returns my calls or emails and is just trying to get me to plead out to a s***ty deal where I could potentially go to jail for some time. I'm really freaking out over this and would appreciate any help to hire this really good attorney in my area who is confident he could get me a much better deal or get it dismissed outright.

I work but its just a part time job while I go to school and wont be enough for me to raise the money in time. It would be 4k for my attorney to represent me until/if we go to trial. My attorney needs 2000 downpayment to start on my case and be in court with me in 11 days for my next date so if I could raise at least half of my 4k goal I'd be so grateful.

My nigga u moving dumb af tbh this an open and shut case. Govt not finna waste tax money on this. Plead guilty, get some recommendation letters on your character, say you’ll take probation and community service and make sure they know you graduating from UNI this year you can win this case representing yourself tbh
