I'm skeptical At least so far, haha. Sure, I only started 2 days ago but it just looks and feels like a very basic game from generations back.

Nothing's been particularly impressive or exciting or cool or awesome or satisfying.

Just running around the same looking plain city picking up items on the ground or on rooftops, catching Pokémon during the day, battling trainers at night.

There may be some tiny improvements or changes but they are not even worth mentioning. They are not significant enough.

I feel like I'm playing it not because I'm enjoying it but because I paid full price for it and got nothing else to play right now. Not sure if I'll be able to make it through the whole game though.

Would I like ZA if I found arceus kinda boring? Also why are people s***ting on this game?

although the game looks like absolute cheeks, i am still enjoying it. i just wish they kept the foundation of arceus and built upon it tbh. would have been an amazing game if they just did that. so many things have taken a step back and its baffling game freak decided to make that decision.

Yeah I bought this cause I loved Arceus and thought it was the best Pokemon game since gen V. This is nowhere close to that level, honestly.
That whole game felt like a grand Pokemon adventure, the open world of the regions felt alive and vibrant.
This is still kinda fun cause it’s Pokemon, but it’s a big step back from Arceus, IMO.

tbh i really hope they patch arceus one day with a switch 2 version. game is ugly as well but it has so much potential to be a really pretty experience with all the biomes, semi open world and a resolution bump at 60FPS.

Just beat the main story for ZA! Did a little over 50 hours as I did every side mission I could before moving on to the next main mission. Overall, very refreshing and gives me optimism for the Pokemon franchise moving forward

I would probably rate it a 6.5/10

Absolutely enjoyed it. Can’t wait to finish all the missions and try to finish the Pokédex!
