How do you feel is the correct way to make change? Let me just say up front a lot of grassroots activism is funded by political pacs.

Well for one, in capitalist democracy you need to have non astro turfed grassroots organization. Labor strikes as well

Asking people who got bills to pay to strike, or risk forming a union and putting their lives at risk isn’t practical today.

Because working within the system isn't a good way for change to materialize

There was a super pac that used a template for legislation that legislators would use, trying to find where I read that

I give up I can’t find it under the countless articles about pacs. I know a conservative pac had a template for writing legislation and that a state senator used it. My entire point it that pacs have enormous power to sways what our Government does and it’d be stupid not to take advantage.

“ When Congress was considering an unpopular tax reform package in 2017, Cory Bliss — the head of the Congressional Leadership Fund and close ally of House Speaker Paul Ryan — gave House Republicans an ultimatum: the group would not support members who voted against the bill. As the tax reform moved through Congress, senators and representatives were frank about their motivation to pass it to please donors. The Congressional Leadership Fund went on to be the highest-spending super PAC in 2018, shelling out $138 million in support of GOP candidates.”

One of my dream goals is to establish a pac that represents the interest of black people and prop up legislators and legislation that serves our interest. There’s already a precedent set that it works in the highest level of office so why not give it a try
