Heard Polos new strategy is to literally raise prices,up exclusivity and keep clothes from going on sale/outta outlets as much as possible. I think their bringing the old blue tag back too.

Better late then never lol,the whole strategy is designed to make Polo(and really the Ralph Lauren as a whole)feel truly premium again. I imagine their looking to cut out the TJ Max outlet stuff by a good bit.
Polo is timeless but it did lose some luster in these past few years

To make a quick buck but alot of these brands realized that,making a quick buck hurts your brand. Either people want it at the premium or they don't,but as long as its premium,people are gonna want it,whether they can cop or not.
It seems like everyone is trying to restore the feeling(even Nike)by snatching actual cool gear out of stores and creating an iykyk community around said cool gear.
