Let me point out that when I stand up and ask for respect for liberal democracy, I dont do so cause I think it is magical. I do so because in this case, marxist leninism seizures have power have almost always resulted in death and some innocent getting their rights trampled on. I defend inclusive institutions because they facilitate people being able to stand up for themselves and protect everyones stake.

Additionally, I have no desire for western hegemony. The idea inclusive institutions and democracy are only products of the west and can only succeed within the concept of western culture is racist. It omits the existence of South Korea, Taiwan, Ghana, Botswana and a plethora of other countries

We will go back and forth all day but I recommend the book 'why nations fail' which outlines the importance of inclusive institutions and how top down authoritarian rule is the opposite of progress
The book also attacks colonialism as setting up countries to fail via extractive and coercive control

See, now you've switched over to inclusive institutions, you don't drone on about inclusive institutions, you drone on about the liberal democracy. You're in essence presenting it as the only institution that could ever be, "inclusive" in this instance.
