i think there are more MTF but it's also because society focuses on MTF. just as people focus on men when thinking about gay people.

alot of probably due to biological men being perceived as s***pests. a gay man is a s***pest you must be wary of. a trans woman is a s***pest you must be wary of. generally, women who transition or come out as lesbian do not have to deal with this issue. if nobody cares, they are not visible at all.
