Chubby GambinoPart of the problem is defining what "over consumption" is. How often should p*** be watched before it becomes unhealthy? Many people are in denial about the harmful effects of p*** in the first place, so they'll definitely be in denial about having an addiction to it
Eradication might not be the solution, but the accessibility of p*** to minors and a societal push towards it being "normal" should definitely be combatted. We can load up literally millions of hours of videos containing strangers having s***on a device we carry around with us everywhere. For free. That s*** is wild and changes need to be made
Everyone’s tolerance threshold is different. For me even at my worst when I would go to read s*** on p*** addicts on Reddit, or even some here on KTT, my “addiction” to p*** doesn’t even scratch the surface. Like I’ve read about some of y’all p*** watching habits here and idk how niggas have that amount of time. Cause even when I wasn’t working I could never consume the amount of p*** some people here claim to.
So when I read about other people’s problems it makes me feel better about myself ngl, but also makes me hesitate to call my relationship with p*** an addiction. D*** still gets bricked up. I can nut just fine now. So it’s a case by case basis. You’re right in that people have to be honest and reflect on if what they’re doing is detrimental to the life they want.

But a lot of people aren't ready to discuss this topic seriously, since people are ashamed to admit it and it's a taboo topic so you'll get a lot of dismissals and driveby posts.
Our brains are simply not built for that level of supernormal stimuli on command. No matter how you slice it or try to say it is ok under X condition, at any level imo it's affecting our brain chemistry to different extents. Which in turn affects the literal fabric of your experience and life.
Internet p***ography takes advantage of our brain chemistry and normal bodily processes and hijacks it so you can stay consuming it. It desensitises you to normal sexual experience. The main issue is a lot of people mix up p***ography and masturbation and assume that you can't do the latter if you escape from the former.
Very true. I kinda wish I learned how to masturbate without p***. Weird phrasing cause nobody would teach that, but I just mean I never explored myself in that way tbh. But I’m a visual person, I like f***ing with the lights on. So probably woulda always ended up on this road.

The former part you touched on is why it's harmful to our brains. Your brain is tricked into thinking it has more partners in 1 session than all of your ancestors would've had in their entire lifetimes. That has to be affecting your brain chemistry and making people complacent and docile, therefore affecting your life outcomes.
