When the weather's at 100+, protestors and rioters leave. The white liberals have completely destroyed MLK street in Portland. The Boys and Girls club is a well known staple in Black Portland, along with the restaurants and banks along that corridor. Mind you, the popular white restaurant Old Town Pizza along w/ many white businesses remain untouched except Nike.

Let Black Portland protest and riot in Lake Oswego and see what happens. Black Portland isn't rioting, white people are. They've highjacked a peaceful cause with violence and destruction.

The only reason why the downtown riots are allowed is because it's a total insurance ploy. The riots are located in opportunity zones, that's why they form at the same locations and end at the same destinations.

If anyone looks at a map of where protesting and rioting is happening in their major city, it's within this opportunity zone.

we were born into a world where you need a fossil fuel driven car to have a job and survive 95% of the time. we were surrounded by plastic items, fed environmentally damaging foods. so i really do put this on the backs of the companies that pushed us here.

just do what you can. washing out recycleables and recycling them, picking up litter you see, carpooling, turning the water off while you brush your teeth, etc. every little bit counts and if you have enough to donate to places you trust, by all means, do that.

but don't beat yourself up over it. if you're near my age, truthfully even if you were way older, you were born into this world set up for us to be unable to naturally provide for ourselves. that wouldn't have benefited the economy.

@JayXCIX the weather, at least in Portland contributes to the activities we do here. When it's 6 inches of snow, the city shuts down, the same happens during the 100+ weather.
