igor tbh
loved it on release but now it feels like he’s too stubborn to let b****es sing on his s***
his ballads can never be more than decent unless he trains his voice or get singers on it. he’s gonna have to decide if he wants to produce for better singers or if he wants to become a vocalist.
it’s the only thing stopping him from his evolution unless he commits to making a rap record. if he does anything more than rap he gonna have to get those vocals right bc i’d rather just auto tune his voice than that awful pitch s*** he does
agreed, you should have made this the op
I've seen people call because of the internet a 10/10 and even most Tyler fans will admit wolf had some flaws

mmm i can see how u feel this way but tbh idk who does this
odd futures influence is evident outside of wolf. earl is literally a legend, tyler is great rapper when he’s serious, and they inspired a bunch of d***heads to use their macbooks to rap instead of just watching p***. they already cemented with or without wolf
wolf is a classic tho, not a perfect classic, but it’s important imo

off course they were inspirational and had, I would argue, the biggest contribution to rap in the last decade, its just none of them, outside of frank, made classics albums while part of odd future. More of what I was trying to say was that I don't think anyone considers wolf a 10/10 album for quality, I think they are fully aware that it is nostalgia based
no way he is of african descent saying that album is overrated... just ain’t no way

yea then i completely agree with u
Ill start:
Because of the internet
(poorly executed concept, a lot of subpar songs and no influence)
You just killed your own thread mentioning a undeniable classic smh
You just killed your own thread mentioning a undeniable classic smh
aint even platinum yet and its been years
36 Chambers works still imo bc of how raw it is, that energy is insane
I’ll agree it’s a cool album
And maybe overrated isn’t the correct term on how I feel about it
I used to love 90’s rap hip hop s*** but I just can’t anymore
explain why an album a concept album that needed a screenplay to explain the story and had zero influence is a classic then
People still talk about it 7 years later so it had some kind of impact
TBH... a lot of Drake albums.
Specifically Views. It came out in 2016 which was a perfect year but it’s still mid af
My hottest of takes:
GRODT
Enter the 36 chambers
These are terrible takes period smh
This thread so bad, I'm turning this into a BTI Appreciation Thread:

thundercat on shadows whew
