Social media is definitely nicer to Views as time passes than it was when Views dropped due to nostalgia over grinding to Controlla/One Dance

And I’ve seen people do it to. Albums grown on people all the time. Joe Budden changed his stance on Views on the podcast too iirc and he was one of the first to bash it.

Yet the consensus is still that Views it’s regarded as a dud lol. So it can’t really be overrated.

loved it on release but now it feels like he’s too stubborn to let b****es sing on his s***

his ballads can never be more than decent unless he trains his voice or get singers on it. he’s gonna have to decide if he wants to produce for better singers or if he wants to become a vocalist.

it’s the only thing stopping him from his evolution unless he commits to making a rap record. if he does anything more than rap he gonna have to get those vocals right bc i’d rather just auto tune his voice than that awful pitch s*** he does

we haven’t seen a musical evolution like this in forever. people work like hell to make a wolf...

and cherry bomb d***riders be LYING to themselves saying it’s better. it’s a perfect step towards his evolution. but it’s immature af. not so lyrically but so many production decisions was just dumb idec. he’s his own worst enemy on that record. so many good ideas and i’m glad he just let out so many conflicting ideas, but goddamn...

flower boy is literally where hip hop should be. s*** brought back the cinematic feeling rap used to have while still being completely original.

igor takes the brashness and ballads of cherry bomb and tightens everything. nigga stopped copying stevie chord progressions and actually studied song structure and made some unique s***. it’s not as cinematic (or good imo) as FB but it’s sooo good i really do love that album
