Cause with Post Malone, there’s a line to follow where his music gets more catchy and resonant the more he challenges himself with new sounds (whether we like them as a whole or not). Idk the correlation but it’s there. And once he stopped doing that, it sounds like he’s struggling to make something that sticks

He can still make songs like he did on BB&B / Stoney era but he enjoys doing this stuff as well. what's wrong with making some money off your art? songs like this get tons of streams and radio play. We're all mostly rap fans though so its easy to only see 1 side of the equation
