It didn't seem organic like the first one.

Havent heard it in a while but I remember my first reaction was it was off. It didnt come off as seamlessly as the 1st one

you should give it another chance & run it back to see how you feel about it now. its definitely darker & more rock influenced than the first one, i think the cover represents the sound pretty well. cudi's more depressed and the sound is more spacey

Damn near identical to mine except alla>testing in mine

just got stoned and listened to alla and testing back to back on flac, i still prefer testing. i think alla feels a bit long though im not sure what tracks i would cut down or out completely. also he seems to have gone for a rock style mixing on a couple tracks which is cool but i think the low end suffers for it whereas the mixing on testing has a nicer low end throughout. overall both are great albums

Yea the mixing on ALLA def had this classic rock vibe even the mastering on a song like LPFJ2 sounds like it’s on vinyl on Apple Music. I actually really like that about the album but then you get songs like Everyday that have zero bass lmao.

I feel you tho the projects aren’t that far away from each other for me. Both Rocky at his best imo.

MFxOG by Big Sant is a great mixtape from 2012 with maybe 3k downloads on datpiff
