I need an EQ setting that will sound the best for ANY song. I don't want distorted bass, really preferably something that will WOW an audiophile just from using mid equipment.
Post your EQ and what sound it goes for.

There’s no perfect EQ setting. You need to listen to the track in the context of the mix to determine where to cut and boost.
Edit: thought we were discussing mixing

I know that, but in general I would like an EQ setting that is crisp and clear for vocals with semi bass. NOT a fan of 808 distortion that will break a speaker.

Vocals generally are most present in the 2k - 4K range but boosting too much can make them sound harsh. Play around with some settings

soulja boy type beat
Great thread idea OP vocal mixing lowkey hard to get right
The problem is, it's hard to get it correct since the mixing on most rap songs nowadays is poor.
Imagine not listening to the music the way artist intended it to sound
EQ’s are independent from that it can tailor to strengths of your speaker
i have a stronger low end, a weaker area between the midrange and highs, and medium level midrange and high end
bass heavy and vocals are crispy

Yeah but then nobody can tell you exactly what eq to use unless they have the exact sound system
