Unless Drake gives you his credit card, what makes your opinion more valid than mine?

Drake is losing every argument outside of the ā€œstreaming numbersā€ one at this point.

Theres no credible argument for the actual music at this point.

I dont look at music. I listen to music.

What am I being asked to LISTEN to? WITH MY EARS?

    This is true.

Which is why as a past listener it is easy to acknowledge his material just aint relatable to me no more.

The ā€œToo Muchā€ Drake just dont exist anymore and thats fine

did you listen to Drake's album with PND? i think it really hit the spot in describing a toxic relationship. TSU was also relatable if you've ever fw a stripper.

there has always been a gap that's prevented me from making an emotional connection with Drake's music, it's always felt slightly insincere. but it sounds so good i can overlook it.

  • Why are drake haters more obsessed with drake than his actual fans? This s*** don’t make no sense. The way y’all are always psychoanalyzing everything he does while keeping in touch with his day to day is insane

  • All drake has to do is blow us away with music.

he hasn’t so now we’ve got people arguing the most minute technical points.

    This continues to ring true:

All of the successful rappers in 2024 and beyond are in stable monogamous prosperous supportive relationships. Not perfect relationships, but ones that allow other insecurities and flaws to be overcome and real growth, insight, and epiphanies to shine through.

Drake has failed in this regard. Its affected his music and his perception.

We dont want stripper music. Even Future is rapping about stability now.

If drake was dating BLACK WOMAN right now, half of his problems would instantly disappear.

The chicks he’s sneaking off to console his ego are gonna bail when the mainstream access disappears. You can’t be cool to everyone all the time any more.

He’s running away from reality and thats why he’s showing so much spite and resentment.

drake has a line about his dad on 4PM in Calabasas song... they keep telling drake how to move like a rapper who's less successful than him...

but you should log off. this will be my last post today. at the end of the day Drake's playboy persona makes people feel insecure probably because they've had or have struggles with dating. it's not worth engaging.

only reason i even use KTT2 rn is because i've fallen on hard times and spend most of my time alone.

it's funny tho. Kanye fans and Drake fans talk about so many songs and their emotional connection with them, to the point where even if you didn't listen to Kanye or Drake you'd still know them. and you don't get that with Kendrick. his fans don't really talk about his discography in details, just how certain albums are classics... like even if you've never heard MBDTF, you'd still know a song like Monster because of how much people discuss Nicki and Jay's verses.

like when this girl i'd been friends for a year with started to fw me. the moment the vibe shifted was when i quoted "what's a black beatle anyway, a f***in roach." and then we spent the rest of the day going back and forth with "Can we get much higher."

no one is doing that with a f***ing kendrick song.

  • Does Drake think we’re fooled? Like we can’t see him?

    It’s just so confusing.

    I loved 4PM in Calabasas…

but...Why is there a guy (I wont post him here because I dont want to stir up drama) claiming to have written that song? See what I’m saying? Theres just too much cloudy nonsense about Drake out here and he’s not doing the slightest to push back or clarify any of it?

Telling strangers they struggle with relationships while being admittedly chronically alone is a bit insane brother, and people discuss Kendrick’s discography all the time that was a weird tangent

Y’all niggas just be doing too much. Drake’s the goat cuz he makes the best music. He’s been on top for 15 years now cuz no one’s on his level. Until someone overtakes him, no one has the right to tell him how to move. All this other psychoanalysis s*** is for the birds. Just listen to the music and enjoy life man

  • Jan 10

We gotta get rid of this tolerance for ā€œversatilityā€ cause…you have to do ONE THING REALLY WELL for that argument to stick.

What has Drake shown that he does REALLY well lately?

He has 3 consecutive years of making the worst music of his career.

I dont think you understand how many chances the public has been giving him.

Even after ALL of this, people are STILL waiting for him to show he’s still got it.

    …he hasn’t.

How did this leave the studio?

    It sounds…ridiculous

This groggy out of tune nonsense…just no presence on the track.

This is nasty and I hate that yall gassed this.

This is below average for him.

I’ve been going back to listen to the Teedra Moses mixtapes that you can’t even find on streaming. I have the downloaded MP3’s and YouTube bookmarks.

    Those are 20+ years old.

I’m not listening to them because they’re popular. They’re incredible artistic works from one of the most under appreciated and underrated artists of the 21st century. And she wrote ALL of that herself.

…Drake has forced even a super-fan like me to really re-assess what I’ve been forced to tolerate for years on his creative output.

No. I dont want to listen to FATD. I barely return to $$$4U because of the autotune and immaturity.

    Just give me SOMETHING bro…

    …or its over.

Literally the only other rapper that’s on drakes level artistically is Kanye but he went insane. How are y’all trying to give the guy with the Midas touch advice on making music. The day he falls of is when he listens to ktt

I personally like the song. I'm more so talking about you taking up the last 5 pages man. I'm speaking generally it sounds like you won't be satisfied regardless of what Drake does and you have no control over it.

Kanye is saved because he produces music and the issues he tackles. Not because of his creative output or vision.

He and Drake do not have the same problem.

All Drake needs is better music. He aint done it.

Big Sean had an incredible run of verses in 2025.
    Did Drake?
