“Why love somethingr when you have everything?” Is the calling cry of every person who thinks streaming is the fundamental ideal situation
But that’s not as great as it seems
Why would I not want access to all the music in the world? That’s what we currently have and there are artist groups and songs I treasure still, not because I don’t have other options but because they just don’t move me the way that song or artist might. Access on the level we have now reveals what actually touches you or what’s just put in front of you

News flash, none of us “own” anything in this life if you provide the same level of scrutiny. With the amount of music I have downloaded, it would have costed 10x the amount I have paid from my years of Apple Music subscription

It’s the cost of one CD a month. It’s only March and I’ve listened to way more than what’s on just three albums. There’s no way you can make the argument streaming is worse for the consumer.

I had streaming for most of my high school career and I’ve probably discovered more genres, artists, etc than I would have if I didn’t have streaming.
I will agree that you’re more likely to sit with an album if you use to buy it vs just streaming it
Which gives artists in general zero incentives to make great projects that need to be sat with
