He’d 100% do the same. I can’t blame either. Idk where I’m getting this memory from but wasn’t FPS like a late addition to the album too? Drake prob felt a way since he wanted to drop it for the album and kind of lines up with Cole saying it wasn’t moving fast enough with Dot so maybe it made him feel a way about extending the olive branch. Idk man I know it ain’t his spot to spill the beans but I watched all the Cole interviews and if anything I’d want him to dive into all the internet lies because he basically makes it sound like a lot of the stuff that was spread was cap. I’d just love to know the real story of what happened

Yeah I think Cole’s verse for FPS was last minute that’s why the album didn’t drop at midnight? Just a lot of ego involved in this whole thing. And clearly some hard feelings. For both of them to take it to the levels they did over a verse is crazy.

I wonder what those behind the scenes conversations were like between Drake and Kendrick. If they had a conversation about the lines in the sand for the beef, you’d think they’d be able to say hey no hard feelings, I just really wanted this song to have a moment so I got Cole. I’m just talking s*** not a diss

S*** even stuff like “Top wanna peace it up” probably even just gives more credence that they were talking indirectly but prob never just directly spoke to clear the air

He spent 10 years making this album & they don’t even pretend to be interested. They can’t get the Drake interview so they keep asking anybody who knows him questions. This is crazy.

Cole said FPS was supposed to be a Drake and Kendrick song first also according to reddit that “What Top 5 you smoking on” AK adlib was supposed to lead into a Kendrick verse

That might be the hardest s*** id ever hear in a rap song ... wtf

How they say Drake aint hip-hop and the culture?

He is the only one keeping the lights on this b**** and all they can talk about

They tried to end him and thought they could still keep things rolling

"Less for him, more for us" and off they went.

Evidently it was not a good longterm strategy, the way everyone in the industry is behaving right now.

    They are cooked.

It clear as day everyone is wanting a new beef or Iceman to drop to start some s***.

Have the industry booming again, as everything has dried up for them now.

I want new music but Drake could wait and see them crash out some more.
