I always thought a lot of the power behind Drake’s machine was OVO was a tight-knit group of friends that all came up together. I think it kept him grounded and probably got real feedback. Now you got random niggas like this dude and f***ing Adin Ross speaking on the music. No coincidence the quality has dipped since he let all these bozos in his circle

i know they say artist should be more open to collaboration which can help with the creative process, but the clowns that he's been associating with is not it.

I’d be 100% open to more collaboration but from legitimate folks in the music business that can help provide different ideas or perspectives to his fundamental process. These dudes are all just probably “oh ya that’s gonna go viral” or some stupid s*** that’s irrelevant to the quality of the music. He’s just too habitually online and cares too much what people online think so he’s going to these dudes with big platforms that were literally nonexistent when he was commercially in his prime and still making quality music. Just makes absolutely no sense. I hope he proves me wrong I’d love to eat crow but I can’t help but think all I have to go off of this is going to be another FATD compilation album with a few dope tracks and a bunch of bullshit
