Meanwhile Canadians have to pay a tax for carbon and use paper straws…
He didn't just waste a ton of resources, he's also got the firefighters wasting their time.

Fortress of Solitude... where Superman learns of his identity and true purpose on Earth. It's where Superman goes to train. Where he houses artifacts of his home planet. Where he goes when he is overwhelmed by the noise of the world. Somewhere he goes to meditate and train

Maybe Drake's Fortress of Solitude during these difficult times was the studio? Specifically in the embassy/Toronto? The artifacts of cultural significance range from iconic sports to historic rap memorabilia. Music has always been where he shares his reflections
Another thing that interested me was the connection between the structure and episode 3 of Iceman

The art installation "Fluids," from which Drake drew inspiration for his ice structure (that he hinted at years ago in a plot twist story), was one of Allan Kaprow's "Happenings," a term Kaprow coined to describe performance art that blurs the line between art and the audience's everyday life. Funny enough, this art installation went up in multiple locations throughout LA in 1967.
Traditional structures usually made of bronze or marble were made under the pretense or expectation that they'd last forever, while "Fluids" was created with the intention to disappear. The art was not the structure but rather the story of the transition from solid to liquid. The extensive physical labor and work, to the fusing of blocks, to the disappearance of it all. The art could not be bought or sold or showcased in a mueseum or gallery. It only existed in the memory of those who saw it and through forms of documentation. Kaprow's work has been replicated many times after the fact and has been and can be re-experienced by many generations following it, if they are willing to do the heavy lifting. Karpow wanted observers to also be participants. Drake's structure stayed true to the original while adding an incentive to interact and participate
I believe this may be connected to a part of Episode 3 of "Iceman." Specifically, the scene in the restaurant where the 4 masked individuals are seemingly meeting with one another and paint out the work legacy on the table. They dropped their 4 large ice cubes on top of the word and then proceeded to exit. When the waiter returned, he dropped a bucket of cubes on top as well. No matter what people may try to bury him with at any given time, his legacy is set in stone and will always survive to tell a story
