Drake was doing 52 million daily streams even though Slime You Out was out before FATD dropped. Yesterday, despite there being no lead single close to the release and still 6 days left until the album, he pulled 60.1 million daily streams. He’s breaking his own monthly listener record every single day without even dropping anything. The fan engagement on social media is insanely high, and when there are so many videos about the album pulling over 1 million likes, this genuinely stops being just a small circle.

How many people can even clear 400k in the first week from streaming alone? Basically just Drake and Taylor. So this album is automatically in the same arena as Taylor’s albums and CLB, making it the most hyped album of the last 6 years outside of Certified Lover Boy and Swift albums

Don’t understand what you’re trying to prove. Of course random people in your life aren’t going to know Drake is about to drop an album. Album rollouts don’t reach some random person in everyday life, they reach music fans.
When Billie Eilish was about to release Hit Me Hard and Soft, did your friends know the album was coming out? No.
The hype for Iceman is very comfortably S-tier by music industry standards. We measure hype through comparisons within the industry.
