Thank you truly
Iβm down if itβs that many tracks, my guy hasnβt released a solo project in years. Iβm here for it.
this is so true but its so hard for artists to know which songs will be those ones you keep.
sometimes songs artists didnt want on the album are the hits and sometimes the one they were most excited about flops.
It must be tough having that much pressure fr
E.g. on first listen without hearing it elsewhere I knew Too Sexy - Drake would make sense as a single
or Cuff It - Beyonce sounds like a hit
But it must still be tricky especially having to judge your own work (that's how we get artists dropping The Big Day's & stuff)
& we hear stories all the time about labels/artists passing on stuff that becomes a hit
Kevin Parker almost letting Mark Ronson have Less I Know The Better
Cee Lo passing on Happy by Pharrell
Leona Lewis allegedly almost being the one to release Halo
Bieber & Rihanna both allegedly passing on Earfquake (although who knows if it would've worked out as well)
Chaka Khan not wanting to work with Prince & then later scoring a hit by recording one of his old songs etc etc.
deserved

nigga got a janice soprano homage on this album
