Do you realize there are countless other rappers with even more lyrically dense works that never reach that level even with great albums because they aren’t as successfully accepted by white people ?

Because they’re not as commercial as Kendrick

    Also that’s not a Kendrick-specific issue

Any rapper who reaches that level of popularity has a fanbase that is majority white

Kendrick's music panders to white people (left and right) who only believe black people live a very urban, d***-filled, ghetto, hostile, trauma-inducing, life.

It gives no space to the wide spectrum of experiences black people have around the United States, and the world.

Through this narrow box of the black experience, Kendrick flourishes as the poster child of exactly what these kind of what white people expect black people to make music about and talk on

This is the same box Kendrick pointed out that Drake was exploiting and not being a part of

In reality, Drake's music liberates black people because it speaks on the vast kinds of lives they ACTUALLY lead, whilst also uplifting so many regional sounds and artists that get overlooked by mainstream records and radio

    Drake's music is open-minded thinking, Kendrick's is close-minded thinking

So if you're a white person and you really think Kendrick speaks for the entire black experience, that says A LOT about you.

And if you don't get that -- Janice, STFU

We need a full song out of the first half of dust

  • Whisper my name and don't say it too loud
'Cause you gotta come here and you know I pop out
We turnt up Coachella, had boys backin' down
And we might do the same if we touch Rolling Loud
If you my guy, then say that, my guy
Like, "What's up, my crodie? Come hug me right now"
Come up to me and get one of them out
'Cause you know all these guys been countin' me out

This brother gave us quite possibly his best intro ever

And then proceeded to walk the entire industry down.

Not to mention he’s about to break pretty much every f***ing important record.

I am never gonna listen to any other opinion other than he’s the GOAT… like ever.

One thing I love about it, it’s like he does the intro where he says he needs to take a new direction and then pump fakes everyone by reverting to generic women song Drake just to change to a rap focused direction
