Tsar Bomba is unable to be logistically used tho and was never a practical weapon. It was used as psychological warfare, a "threat".

Nigga.....even the mid Nuke is too OP

especially how f***ed the climate is?

We can't afford ONE to drop

    Okay? That doesn't change anything.

    what?

    it totally does lmao.

the point is that, no, conflict between nuclear countries does not necessarily always lead to nuclear war. In other words, it's possible for the US to do stuff without killing us all. This is mostly because of MAD. Russia knows if they launch any nukes, they're cooked, like instantly. As such, Russia launching nukes would be a pretty stupid move for them, no?

You are arguing against this, basically saying that MAD doesn't matter and every single kind of conflict between nuclear powers will always 100% guaranteed end in nuclear war. And to support this argument that MAD does not hold up under pressure, you use an example where MAD did hold up and the only threat was caused by faulty technology. which is why i pointed that out.

MAD only prevents nuclear war until it doesn't.

We've only had these things for 75 years and have had a number of close calls. The world survived only because of certain people in the right place at the right time. With each passing year we're testing our luck. So long as we have these weapons, we're on a trend towards holocaust.

we will get world war within the next 50 years.

if this does not directly cause it, some youngster is going to see putin's propaganda where russia is suffering post-war effects. he will want to avenge his country.

isn't this how hitler came up? he saw what happened to germany and blamed the jews

I mean unfortunately I am for sending help to Ukraine but how much and what communication is had. At what point do you say "help cant win this"? Again 6.9 billion could be used here

well obviously if we knew how much sanctions and help we would need to send this would be a much simpler situation

unfortunately this is not the case and the unjust invasion is still continuing

again I have nothing against Russian people and I wish them all the best, this isn't their fault, but their country isn't getting bombed right now

  • they r just lost in the sauce innit

everyone itt is pretty smart, just some of us are more buried in ideological quicksand than others

I honestly can't tell he is a tough read right now thats all I am saying. He is definitely wild card. Even if they do reach "peace" people will look at him different for the rest of his life so I am lost on what his goal is if it isnt to send a message and beat his chest
