Civil War reenactments all over the globe
Objectively, the Soviet Union under everyone other than stalin was better than the current Russian regime. Decisively less russo centric than both putin and tsarist russia.

No
No
Nah it is true and I don't say that to stan the Soviet Union, but as a non Russian you had more power then
You have to remember that the states and people's suppressed by the Soviets such as the baltics, were suppressed even harder under the Tsar. No oppression is good but at least one of them was eventually escaped
Where are all the “KHERSON SOON” people now?
They're doing alright, gains have been made but still gonna take a while

You’re acting like the USSR wasn’t oppressive af under Andropov, and the early years of Gorby. Afghanistan invasion happened under Brezhnev too. And don’t discount the fact that at least the modern Russian Federation isn’t communist. Private business is allowed whereas in the USSR business owners were persecuted, had raids conducted on them.

There won't be any response, probably

There were no oligarchs in the USSR. Just regular people with theaters and small shops that got raided and sent to gulags to do manual labor.

Lmao

And those "oppressed capitalists" created what after the overthrow of the USSR right
And those "oppressed capitalists" created what after the overthrow of the USSR right
Let's be real, the ussr hurt many people who weren't aristocrats or major landowners, and even if they were capitalists they often didnt deserve such heavy crackdown for owning a field slightly bigger than average
And modern day russia is fascist in the sense that the security apparatus cut a deal with the oligarchs around the turn of the millennium where those who don't oppose Putin will be protected and those who do fall out of window. The security holds power and embeds oligarchs interests. You see patterns similar all over Russian history. The place just seems to have an authoritarian character
Just injecting some reality in here
