They’re already trying to spin it as he was going off “bad information”

    thehill.com/policy/international/3816186-zelensky-adviser-resigns-after-blaming-ukraine-for-dnipro-apartment-bombing

Also the tweets included here are funny considering Ukraine has been claiming to intercept like 99% of missiles everyday for the past two months

If these tanks are so special, why is Ukraine just now getting them?

There have been concerns about training with the M1, which is ridiculously complicated (jet engine, autoloader mechanism, classified armor components)

They're not on Ukrainian land, but West feels the need to keep weapons shipments up to save face from the s*** show that this war is. Germany called the U.S out on not sending Abrams, so now they're saying they will so that they can force Germany on Leopards

WashPo saying Abrams might take years to arrive lol. They achieve nothing for whatever offensive (not sure why we are talking Spring offensives right now anyway considering they need emergency defensive assitance)

The U.S. vehicles, probably numbering at least 30, are unlikely to arrive by spring, when Russian forces are expected to begin a new offensive and Ukraine plans to launch its own counteroffensive to take back Russian-occupied territory. Instead, the Abramses are “probably not for the near fight,” one U.S. official said, and are not likely to arrive for many months, if not years.

Leopards are cool i guess but 30-60 tanks isn't gonna save a war. They'll get destroyed within a few months which is expected from a war like this. Even Leopards won't be in operation for months because you need 6 months of training to operate one well (they'll prob cut this to weeks-couple months)

One day it was Javelins, the next it was HIMARS, today it's tanks, tomorrow its fighter jets, etc.... If the past weapons turned the tide like they said it did why do they never ask for more of the same thing?

And still nothing to really combat Ukraine's air defense problem, issues against multiple ongoing offensives, or the 300,000 Russian troops who are sitting back and awaiting orders to launch a future offensive. We all agree they need assistance now and recently the hyped weapons they get are all several months out

Because Ukraine doesn’t have to win they just have to not lose, hence why the weapons need to keep coming. Also foolish to say they haven’t turned the tide when they’ve made major strides in retaking territory

It will be a win for Ukraine because they will eventually evict Russian troops and maintain sovereignty.

It’s a win for USA because Russia’s military is decimated.

Being within the US’s sphere isn’t any more close to sovereignty as the Russian sphere

as someone who's been a hard critic of this war and foreign aid to ukraine in general, this def just isnt true. its lose-lose just as much as any other war , sure, in terms of per-country losses and damages
but like, just objectively ukraine hasnt lost nearly as much as ti would need to for it to be a total loss. they've lost only really in terms of the fact they were invaded. russia hasn't "lost" either obviously but this has been an utter disaster for them by comparison as the aggressor party
