At the same time, there were no protests (which are forbidden btw) like these when Russia annexed Crimea. So this def a war the Russian population doesn't agree w as much as the Russian actions towards Ukraine before. Prob cause of the history between the countries, family there etc.
That's why i think Putin tries to do this as quick as possible, remove the government, install a Russian puppet and he will be out. A long conflict doesn't seem to be in his favor. Think Russia will do all that soon tbh. Ukraine won't win this, but some (permanent) type of guerrilla warfare can happen as a result tho
